Perplexity

Product Marketing Manager, Partnerships

Build and run Perplexity's first partner marketing function, owning joint plans, co-branded campaigns, and pipeline reporting with major ecosystem partners.

The role

This is a ground-floor role creating the partner marketing function at Perplexity from scratch. The person serves as both the main relationship contact for key partners and the program lead who keeps joint launches, events, and campaigns on schedule. The role reports into a cross-functional web spanning comms, product marketing, sales, and product, with visibility to executives early on.

What you would do

  • Set up the full partner marketing operation, from joint planning through execution and results reporting
  • Draft yearly co-marketing plans with top partners, including pipeline and revenue goals, and lead quarterly reviews
  • Drive shared marketing initiatives from first idea to launch and make sure both companies follow through
  • Shape the joint positioning and message so it is consistent, resonates with buyers, and benefits both sides
  • Run co-marketing programs across the funnel, including webinars, events, account-based plays, syndicated content, email, and digital
  • Create partner-ready materials such as co-branded assets, solution briefs, decks, case studies, and turnkey campaign kits
  • Coordinate joint announcements and amplify Perplexity launches through partner channels
  • Track partner-sourced and influenced pipeline in CRM and report ecosystem impact to leadership

What they asked for

  • Five or more years in B2B marketing, ideally in partner, alliance, or ecosystem roles
  • Hands-on history leading joint go-to-market efforts with technology vendors, ISVs, cloud platforms, or integrators that produced measurable pipeline
  • Strong operational discipline to build plans, hold two organizations accountable, and push through when commitments stall
  • Ability to write a joint story that is sharp, distinct, and believable to buyers and senior leaders at both companies
  • Skilled at executing full-funnel campaigns across webinars, events, ABM, content, and digital, working hands-on rather than only directing
  • Analytical, with prior experience setting up attribution and partner pipeline reporting and working in CRM and revenue tooling
  • Trusted relationship builder who can represent Perplexity's interests while maintaining partner goodwill
  • Self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, able to design the playbook from scratch and move quickly in a fast-growing company
