Webflow

Staff DevOps Engineer, Delivery Loop

Senior-level engineer leading Webflow's deployment strategy and delivery tooling to speed up developer output and keep releases reliable, fully remote in Argentina.

The role

This individual contributor role sits within the developer productivity group and reports to a senior engineering manager. The person shapes how software is built, tested, and shipped across the company, from pipeline design through production rollout. Impact comes through technical guidance and cross-team collaboration rather than direct people management.

What you would do

  • Set the long-term direction for how code moves from merge to production, covering pipelines through rollout.
  • Maintain and advance the GitOps delivery platform so it stays dependable and approachable for engineers.
  • Build staged-release mechanisms such as gradual rollouts, parallel environment swaps, feature toggles, and automatic reversal.
  • Guide architectural choices across teams to raise engineering output and strengthen system uptime.
  • Create and promote shared standards for CI/CD, release management, and environment setup.
  • Locate friction points in the engineering workflow and remove them to sharply shorten delivery time.
  • Develop internal tooling that streamlines testing and deployment workflows.
  • Strengthen reliability through telemetry, alerting, and learning from incidents.
  • Coach engineers and multiply team impact through design reviews and partnership across groups.

What they asked for

  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent practical background.
  • Seven-plus years working in DevOps, site reliability, or infrastructure roles.
  • Strong written and spoken English for everyday professional work.
  • Solid command of container orchestration and GitOps practices, with hands-on use of ArgoCD-style tooling.
  • A track record of building and scaling CI/CD pipelines across large engineering organizations.
  • Comfortable tackling loosely defined, multi-team problems and converting them into concrete plans.
  • Proven results in raising engineer throughput, uptime, and capacity for system growth.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, and distributed system design.
  • Experience rolling out changes gradually via canary releases, blue/green deployments, or feature toggles.
  • Proficiency automating infrastructure through code using tools like Pulumi or Terraform.
