The role
This role creates technical training for Webflow's education library, spanning recorded video, written guides, and hands-on projects. It sits within the education video group and works side by side with producers and instructional designers. The person also keeps learning new integrations so they can teach how those pieces fit together.
What you would do
- Construct the sample websites that serve as reference points for university courses and live workshops, built to professional standards.
- Co-design lesson plans with instructional designers, defining what each lesson must show and the reasoning behind it before production starts.
- Deliver technical instruction on camera for recorded tutorials and live classes, explaining code and build decisions as you go.
- Support producers and designers across planning, filming, and review phases.
- Act as the team's technical authority, checking accuracy and testing material against real-world workflows.
- Audit the content catalog regularly, retiring outdated material, rebuilding what needs refreshing, and prioritizing new topics.
- Coordinate with product and engineering teams ahead of launches so lessons are ready when features ship.
What they asked for
- Four or more years combining technical teaching with front-end development or design work.
- Working fluency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including reading and critiquing code and using AI assistants to speed up development.
- Track record of explaining technical topics to varied audiences through video, docs, courses, workshops, or community activity.
- Comfortable recording on camera, whether reading from an outline or a full script, in a studio or at home.
Nice to have
- Enthusiasm for picking up new integrations and sharing how they work together.
- Openness to treating on-camera feedback as craft input rather than personal critique.
- Ability to tailor explanations for visual designers, engineers, and marketers alike.
