Senior Product Designer, Growth

The role

This role helps establish a growth design practice at a developer infrastructure company, focused on the full self-serve lifecycle for both people and AI agents. The designer reports into Product Design and partners closely with Growth Product, Engineering, and Data. The environment is ambiguous by design, with priorities shifting based on evidence and many experiments expected to be discarded.

What you would do

• Take ownership of the self-serve path from first visit through activation, adoption, monetization, and retention
• Surface promising opportunities via customer conversations, product analytics, and hands-on use of the platform
• Co-define growth strategy, priorities, and success metrics alongside cross-functional partners
• Build functional prototypes with AI and design tools, then carry experiments through to production
• Interpret experiment outcomes while protecting trust, accessibility, and wider funnel health
• Convert successful experiments into reusable patterns and internal tooling
• Circulate learnings so design and growth practices improve over time

• Portfolio showing sound product design craft and measurable business impact
• Track record of taking loosely defined, complex problems from framing through launch and iteration
• Ability to form testable hypotheses and select success and guardrail metrics
• Comfort reading both quantitative and qualitative evidence alongside data partners
• Experience building interactive prototypes independently with current AI tooling
• Attention to interaction detail, edge cases, microcopy, accessibility, and error recovery
• Clear communicator who can explain tradeoffs and gather feedback early

Nice to have

• Experience shipping AI or agent-facing products
• Engineering background or production web code contributions
• Experience designing developer tools or technical infrastructure
• Prior familiarity with the company's platform
