Growth Manager

The role

This role sits in the Premium Growth India group inside the Markets and Subscriptions organisation, focused on turning free listeners into paying members and keeping them subscribed. The manager works at the crossroads of strategy, marketing, product, and data, adapting global growth plans to fit the Indian market. The position is Mumbai-based and involves ownership of execution and experimentation locally.

What you would do

• Adapt global demand capture plans for India and build local offer and conversion ideas with worldwide and regional Growth peers
• Create programs that cut both voluntary and involuntary cancellations and design win-back efforts
• Build and refine messaging flows across email, push, and in-app using internal tooling
• Invent new conversion and retention tactics and keep subscribers engaged over time
• Mine funnel and cohort data for drop-off points and turn findings into recommendations and business cases
• Plan and run A/B tests across the funnel and messaging channels to lift conversion and lifetime value
• Align conversion efforts with top-of-funnel marketing and brand moments
• Work with Finance on offer economics, subscriber forecasts, and return on investment
• Document learnings, improve the Premium Growth playbook, and assist cross-regional initiatives
• Bring AI-enabled tools into workflows where they improve decisions and speed

What they asked for

• At least three years in growth, CRM, lifecycle, or conversion work at a digital consumer business
• Hands-on experience building and tuning multi-channel communication journeys and campaign calendars
• Comfortable handling large datasets and drawing decisions from them
• Blends creative problem-solving with rigorous funnel analysis
• Shows initiative and drives ideas forward without being prompted
• Works across product, data, marketing, and finance while operating in ambiguous situations
