AI Product Manager (Coding/Multimodal)

The role

This position sits within Scale's multimodal and coding data verticals, which cover audio, image, video, and world-model data. It is built as an entry point into AI product management, with the person working alongside senior PMs to keep projects, customer deliverables, and product discovery moving.

What you would do

• Help senior PMs push forward strategic work across coding, agent, and reinforcement-learning data offerings
• Align teams in operations, engineering, research, and sales to hit customer delivery dates
• Monitor milestones, open risks, and inter-team dependencies, keeping owners accountable
• Prepare customer-facing materials, capture requirements, and manage follow-up actions
• Help write data specs, check dataset quality, and spot ways to boost model output and efficiency
• Run market, customer, and rival analysis that feeds roadmap and strategy choices
• Contribute ideas and work on new data products, internal tooling, and evaluation processes

What they asked for

• Roughly three years in PM, project coordination, product ops, advisory work, technical account management, or customer success
• Track record of juggling several projects and stakeholders at once
• Clear written and spoken communication
• History of working across functions and carrying projects to finish
• Curiosity about AI systems, ML, programming, or data-driven products
• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, business, or a comparable field, or equivalent hands-on experience
