The role
This position sits within the product engineering group at an AI-powered software creation company whose tools let people build apps from plain-language prompts. The engineer partners with product managers, designers, and platform teams to turn ideas into shipped features, often starting new initiatives from scratch. Work is hybrid, anchored to the Foster City office.
What you would do
- Lead large initiatives, including launching brand-new products from the ground up
- Pinpoint the toughest technical or quality obstacles and engineer fixes for them
- Set high-level technical direction and track delivery until outcomes land
- Coach and grow newer senior engineers on the team
- Build and ship user-facing features and supporting infrastructure
