Senior / Staff Product Engineer

The role

Senior engineer joining Linear's lean, high-performing team to develop AI-integrated features and infrastructure for their product development platform. Working across the full stack in a remote-first, startup environment where engineers shape product direction alongside founders and design.

What you would do

• Implement new product concepts in collaboration with founders and design teams
• Develop AI-powered capabilities integrated into core platform functionality
• Maintain and enhance real-time collaborative content editor used throughout the product
• Create user-facing features with polished, performant UI components
• Drive application performance improvements obsessively
• Contribute to development process refinement for team velocity

• Minimum 5 years building customer-facing products at quality-focused software companies
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript across full stack
• Experience with browser technologies, Node, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL
• Proven track record shipping complex end-to-end features with measurable product impact

• Ability to work autonomously, shaping problems and implementing solutions
