Senior Developer Advocate

The role

This individual contributor sits within the Developer Advocacy group and focuses on showing the product working in real settings. The position centers on deep familiarity with GitLab's agentic AI features, turning that knowledge into videos, written pieces, and talks, and feeding field observations back to product teams.

What you would do

• Keep a working knowledge of the platform's AI agent features and surface practical scenarios worth demonstrating
• Build product content such as videos, articles, slide decks, and short social clips showing use in the UI and terminal
• Own video production from scripting and recording through editing, coordinating with a specialist team on larger projects
• Present demos and join analyst briefings
• Run webinars and hold conversations with customers
• Stay active in the forum, chat community, and social channels, representing the company at relevant events
• Field technical questions routed from sales and co-develop educational material with support, sales, and product
• Test new features and relay hands-on feedback to product groups
