Lead Product Marketing Manager, Pricing and Packaging

Lead IC owning pricing and packaging messaging and sales enablement, translating tier and monetization changes into field-ready tools across all customer segments.

The role

This individual contributor role sits in the solutions product marketing group and turns pricing and packaging decisions into messaging and enablement that go-to-market teams can use. The person works alongside peers covering DevOps, security, and AI to keep the commercial story consistent across tiers, add-ons, and usage models. The role is fully remote and asynchronous, with a stated expectation that about half of the time is spent in customer and rep meetings.

What you would do

  • Shape the go-to-market plan and enablement program covering pricing across the full product line, for self-serve, assisted, and enterprise buyers.
  • Craft the narrative behind the pricing philosophy and how each monetization move should be framed for buyers.
  • Plan launch preparation for price and package changes, including rep training, customer notices, and alignment with website and campaign flows.
  • Measure post-release pricing performance through adoption data, customer input, and field reports, then recommend next steps to product, monetization, and finance teams.
  • Produce enablement materials such as sales playbooks, tier comparison guides, objection responses, competitive price positioning, value and cost-of-ownership calculators, and interactive quoting tools.
  • Spend roughly half the week on customer and rep-facing calls to learn which pricing questions are blocking deals.
  • Publish thought leadership on platform economics, usage-based models, and value-driven pricing through articles, webinars, and talks.
  • Run cross-team initiatives to improve how pricing is explained and executed, and coach peer PMMs toward consistent commercial messaging.

What they asked for

  • Several years of pricing-led product marketing in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, including enablement for complicated offerings.
  • Track record converting pricing updates into repeatable sales tactics such as messaging, plays, deal guidance, and objection handling that reduce confusion.
  • Solid grasp of SaaS revenue models like per-seat, consumption, and outcome pricing, and the ability to connect those mechanics to customer value across channels.
  • History of working with product, sales leadership, finance, and revenue operations to surface pricing pain points, confirm launch readiness, and keep guidance current.
  • Willingness to spend much of the week in customer and sales meetings and use those conversations to sharpen messaging.
  • Able to build ROI and TCO models and apply competitive context to commercial narratives.
  • Clear communicator who can explain pricing to reps, partners, buyers, and executives alike.
  • Uses win/loss reviews, sales notes, pricing data, and market research to refine enablement over time.
  • Works independently in a fully remote, asynchronous setup with self-driven learning and strong follow-through.
