Dropbox

Head of Product-Led Growth Marketing

Leads Dropbox's self-serve revenue marketing, owning P&L for paid media, SEO/GEO, web, and lifecycle programs while routing qualified accounts to sales.

The role

This senior leadership position sits within the growth organization and carries budget and revenue accountability for marketing aimed at people who sign up and buy on their own. The leader runs the global digital disciplines, spanning performance and brand advertising, search and generative-engine visibility, site experience, and messaging to existing users, while also building the signals that hand promising self-serve accounts to enterprise sellers.

What you would do

  • Set direction and answer for profit-and-loss results on self-serve marketing revenue, balancing customer lifetime value against acquisition spend.
  • Manage worldwide ad spending across brand and performance campaigns, and set up partner work agreements for brand and field teams.
  • Build and run user messaging across email, in-app, and mobile push to drive onboarding, upgrades, and renewals.
  • Direct organic search and AI-answer visibility work plus website optimization to lift quality traffic and conversion.
  • Work with product, engineering, and analytics on growth loops, and co-define criteria for product-qualified leads passed to sales and field marketing.
  • Institutionalize testing, including split tests and lift measurement, to improve customer journeys and campaign returns.
  • Hire, develop, and expand a diverse group of digital marketers while fostering a healthy team culture.

What they asked for

  • Over a decade in digital marketing with expanding ownership, preferably at rapidly growing B2B software companies or large consumer brands.
  • Five or more years leading cross-functional marketing teams, covering recruiting, mentorship, performance evaluation, and organizational structure.
  • Track record running large paid media programs across search, social, video, and display that build brand and drive self-serve sign-ups.
  • Proven leadership of intricate lifecycle programs using advanced audience segmentation, personalization, and multi-channel coordination.
  • Strong analytical command of multi-touch attribution, incrementality studies, marketing mix modeling, and turning complicated data into concise leadership briefings.
  • Skilled at communicating and aligning creative, product, sales, finance, and data groups around shared revenue targets.

Nice to have

  • Experience operating a hybrid go-to-market model, using product usage signals to power enterprise pipeline and account-based campaigns.
  • Managed very large media budgets, roughly $50M and above, along with complex agency and partner networks.
  • Familiarity with modern marketing technology and ad tech, such as customer data platforms, automation tools, attribution software, and privacy governance.
  • Proven at improving acquisition efficiency through payback and lifetime-value-to-cost ratios while protecting brand standards.
  • Handled measurement disruption from platform privacy shifts such as iOS App Tracking Transparency, tracking phase-outs, and first-party data approaches.
  • Has served audiences ranging from solo users and small firms up to mid-sized and large enterprise accounts.
