Product Manager II, Growth - Notifications

The role

This individual contributor role sits within the Growth team in the Consumer and Business group. The product manager will set direction for how the company messages its very large customer base across push, in-app, and email. The work blends long-term platform architecture with rapid experimentation and close collaboration with engineering, data science, and marketing.

What you would do

• Set and steer the roadmap for push, in-app, and email notifications, weighing platform investment against growth testing
• Raise engagement, activation, and retention through individualized notification strategies powered by machine learning
• Work alongside engineers, data scientists, and marketers to create relevance models that sharpen targeting and limit message overload
• Run A/B and multivariate test programs to determine best timing, copy, and channel choices at scale
• Guide the long-term architecture so the platform can accommodate new channels, audience segments, and real-time personalization

What they asked for

• Five or more years in product management, including at least two years on growth, engagement, or lifecycle products serving 1M+ users
• Documented history of delivering ML-based personalization or relevance functionality alongside data science partners
• Strong grasp of experiment design, success measurement, and reading results to guide roadmap choices
• Hands-on ownership of a multi-channel messaging system, covering deliverability, opt-in performance, and send frequency
• Comfortable writing SQL and using analysis tools to answer questions independently without relying on analysts
• Uses generative AI tools thoughtfully, keeping people in the loop to produce work ready for business use
