Web Developer (Growth & Conversion Optimization)

The role

This position sits within the growth organization and centers on building landing pages, funnels, and site features primarily on a visual web platform. The person also builds the connective layer that moves data between the website, sales systems, analytics, and automation tools. It is an individual-contributor role that works across marketing, product, and growth teams.

What you would do

• Build and launch landing pages and conversion flows on the visual builder, including custom scripting and CMS structures
• Design and wire up integrations, webhooks, and middleware linking the site to CRM, analytics, and automation systems
• Create event tracking and experimentation frameworks for A/B testing and personalization
• Analyze funnel behavior to find drop-off points and convert findings into code changes
• Lead technical execution of cross-team web projects and advise non-technical stakeholders
• Prototype richer interactive or animated experiences while protecting speed and accessibility

What they asked for

• At least five years of professional web development, including three or more years on conversion-focused sites
• Advanced command of the visual web platform, including complex CMS and custom code work
• Solid fluency in JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with a focus on maintainable code
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth-based integrations
• Proven record of raising conversion rates through tested changes, with working knowledge of significance testing
• Demonstrated attention to page speed and Core Web Vitals, plus a portfolio of shipped work

Nice to have

• Experience with product analytics and custom event instrumentation tools
• Backend or full-stack development background
• Familiarity with technical SEO practices
• Background in fast-moving startup environments
• Open-source contributions or published technical writing
