The role

This is a hands-on product design position on a small team, where the designer covers most of the product surface. • Run and synthesize user studies to guide which improvements get built
  • Prototype unfamiliar interaction patterns quickly to test how building software could feel
  • Shape onboarding paths that lead users from one use case toward wider capabilities
  • Work closely with engineers and cross-functional partners, giving and taking candid feedback
  • Take initiative in defining and advancing high-priority work

What they asked for

  • Strong, repeatable design process that weighs alternatives and explains tradeoffs
  • Able to communicate at varying levels of detail, favoring visuals while writing and speaking clearly
  • Skilled at decomposing complex problems into simple, reusable interaction patterns
  • High polish standard, iterating until the experience feels right
  • Designs around sequences of behavior rather than isolated screens
  • Eight or more years of relevant experience
