The role

The position works alongside product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to route developer feedback into roadmap choices.

- Produce hands-on technical material such as demo applications, walkthroughs, long-form articles, and reference docs
- Show up across forums, meetups, hands-on sessions, and social platforms as the main voice for developer concerns
- Work with product, engineering, and design teams to surface actionable developer input and inform what gets built next
- Coordinate with marketing, partnerships, and solutions staff to support integrations and ecosystem expansion
- Coach newer advocates and community contributors and raise the standard of advocacy practice company-wide
What they asked for
- Has a track record in developer advocacy, developer relations engineering, or senior software engineering with meaningful community-building work
- Comfortable with REST interfaces, webhooks, and modern client libraries in at least one of JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
- Writes and speaks clearly, able to turn dense technical subjects into accessible material
- Cares about developer experience and has a habit of surfacing user pain points internally
- Thinks in terms of metrics, reads API usage data, and converts community signals into product improvements
- Curious about AI tooling and newer technology, and open to using it to improve how people work
Nice to have
- Recognized credibility with developers around AI, agentic workflows, or productivity tooling
- Existing following or reputation in a developer community that people already look to for guidance
